First Workshop Away From My Place - Part Two

Well here are the photo's that I promised, a little later than I intended.

The ladies at the workshop wanted to know how to make a Christmas card, Male Birthday card and something other than a card so this is what we made.

Male Birthday Card - we used Not Quiet Navy, Creamy Caramel, Whisper White, Old Olive card stock; Not Quiet Navy, Old Olive ink. The stamp sets were Sincere Salutations and Seaworthy.

The Christmas Card, I got the idea from a card that my upline Karen from a Christmas swap that we did a few months ago, thanks Karen. I did change it slight so the card would be a little quicker to make. We used River Rock, Groovy Gauva, Whisper White card stock; Groovy Gauva, Blue Bayou ink; Designer Series Paper - Apple Cider, Double-stitched Ribbon - Blue Bayou, Word Window Punch. The stamp sets were Season of Joy and So Swirly Jumbo Wheel. The Star is not Stampin' Up! but it is a scatter.

The something other than a card we made a Milk Carton. For the Milk Carton - we used Purely Pomegranate, River Rock, Whisper White card stock; Purely Pomegranate ink; Designer Series Paper - Holiday Harmony, Cutter Kit. The stamp set was Season of Joy.

I also gave each guest a thank you which was an Envelope Bag filled with some Double-stitched Ribbon - Blue Bayou, a Hodepodge piece - River Rock, and a Chocolate (thanks for the idea Kim). For the Envelope Bag I used Purely Pomegranate, Blue Bayou, River Rock, Whisper White; Purely Pomegranate, Blue Bayou, River Rock inks; Double-stitched Ribbon - River Rock, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Envelope, Cutter Kit. The stamp sets were Seeing Spots, Circle of Friendship and So Swirly Jumbo Wheel.

First Workshop Away From My Place - Part One

I know that I have not done a posting for nearly a week, how slack am I?
I have a good reason for not posting anything and that is I was preparing for a big workshop this week that was not being held at my place and I was sooo nervous. The workshop went well and everyone enjoyed themselves so much that they are looking at having me back again next year.
Photo's of the make and takes, door prizes, etc., I will post soon so keep an eye out for part 2.

Local Craft Fair

I did my first ever display at a local Craft Fair a couple of months ago and after my nerves settled down, I ended up really enjoying the experience. Now I am ready to do it again. Here are a few photo's of my display area.
A very good friend of mine came along for the whole day and as a thank you for her help, I surprised her with a few Stampin' Up! products that she had her eye on. Also I made her a Thank You card in her favorite colours.
