How Clever Is She

My son's girlfriend made this card yesterday and keep in mind yesterday was the first time ever that she has done something like this. She made a Thank You card for her Mum.

Here is the card that she made all by herself.

Isn't she so clever. My photo does not do it justice.

This is what was used - Orchid Opulence, Tempting Turquoise, Very Vanilla card stock; Chocolate Chip ink; Bud Basic, Basic Outline Jumbo Wheel, Occasional Greetings stamp sets; Stampin' Write Markers (Orchid Opulence, Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery, Lovely Lilac), 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon (Certainly Celery), Pretties Kit (Cream Halfback Pearl), Stamp-a-ma-jig.

Christmas Cards

Yes, I know that the last lot were the 'Last of the Christmas Cards", LOL. But I forgot to make a card for someone and my son and his girlfriend ask me to make a card to give to the other, so these are my very, very last ones. LOL.

I have also realised that I forgot to mention that one of the Christmas cards in the last lot of photo's I was inspired by Karen, sorry Karen.

This is not the best photo as I was running late.

The top two cards were for my son and his girlfriend and the other was for my sister-in-laws family.

My son's girlfriend designed her card for my son so I just copied it for him to give to her because I thought she would like it. She ran out of time to make it herself, so I made it for her and she really liked how they turned out.

An Award

How slack am I because 2 weeks ago I received this award from Debbie and Leonie. Thank you so much ladies. Well now I have to nominate 10 bloggers that I consider great.

I would have loved to give Debbie and Leonie the award as well but they have given it to me so here goes:

Well that was hard because there were others that I would have loved to add to this list but I had to only put 10 down.

Christmas Cards

I hope the ladies on my mailing list have received their cards because if they have not then I'm going to be spoiling the surprise. LOL

These cards were made up using the Simply Scrappin' - Winter Bright. Last year I found (I can't remember from where) "60 Cards from a Simply Scrappin' Kit" and they are so easy to make.

I did have help with making one of these cards and that was the red ute from the Loads of Love stamp set. My 5 year old and 8 year old nephew's helped me make it as they picked out everything that went onto it.

I used: Season of Joy, Sincere Salutations, Loads of Love, Loads of Love Accessories, Snow Flurries stamp sets; Wild Wasabi, Basic Black, Real Red ink; VersaMark, Heat Tool, Stampin' Emboss Powder (White), Stampin' Write Markers (Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue), 1-3/8" Circle Punch, 1-1/4" Circle Punch; Star (non Stampin' Up!).

A Proud Mother

Well today my DS graduated for High School today. No more school an end to an era. He starts full time job in a weeks time. Here are some photo's of him dressed ready for his Formal, which he had this week, and his Graduation today. The graduation photo's is not that good but will put a better one on when I have a chance.

The first two (2) photo's were taken at his Grandmother's place, the third one (1) was taken at home and the last one (1) was taken at the school hall (not the best photo, hopefully my DH photo might be better).
To my DS Aunts who check out my blog and who have not yet seen these photo's, next time we get together up we will have these photo's and more for you to look at but here is a taste.
